Same-day chimney sweep and inspection across 12 DFW cities

Texas Chimney Experts runs same-day booking for chimney sweep, Level 1 inspection, and chimney cap replacement across twelve cities in the DFW Metroplex — Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Garland, Mesquite, Richardson, Carrollton, Lewisville, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Irving.

Book online below, or call 469-352-4279. We answer the phone year-round, and the dispatcher you reach is a person who can give you a real ETA, not a call-center.

Standard pricing

We publish our prices because we have nothing to hide.

  • **Chimney sweep + Level 1 inspection:** $99
  • **Chimney cap replacement:** quoted on inspection — typical range $250–$–+ depending on cap size and complexity
  • **Dryer vent cleaning:** $129
  • **Animal removal + flue cleaning:** $189–$–+ depending on animal type and access
  • **Level 2 inspection">Level 2 inspection (real-estate or insurance):** $249

Pricing is held flat through 2026 and applies across all twelve cities. Travel is included. There is no fuel charge, no after-hours surcharge, and no diagnostic fee on a service call.

If, on inspection, we identify work outside the booked scope — say a cracked clay flue tile that warrants a reline — the work is quoted in writing before any additional charge. You are never billed beyond the booked service without written approval.

How online booking works

Step 1. Click the booking widget below (live on the site at this URL). Select your city, the service you need, and your preferred window. Step 2. The system confirms availability in real time and books the job. You receive a confirmation email and text within five minutes. Step 3. A dispatcher calls within one business hour to confirm the booking, gather any access information (gate code, dog in the yard, etc.), and provide an ETA window. Step 4. A technician arrives within the booked window. The technician calls thirty minutes before arrival. Step 5. Service is completed, walk-through is conducted, and payment is collected on completion.

For any booking placed after 8 p.m., the dispatcher confirmation call happens by 8 a.m. the next morning.

What to expect when we arrive

A TCE technician arrives in a marked vehicle, in uniform, with a name tag and a printed ID badge. The technician introduces themselves at the door and walks through what the booked service includes before any work begins.

For a sweep + Level 1 inspection: Drop cloths and floor protection are placed in the room. The firebox is cleaned. The flue is brushed from below or from the roof depending on access and chimney configuration. A camera scan is run to document interior flue condition. The inspection findings are walked through with you at the end of the service. For a cap replacement: The existing cap (if present) is removed. The new cap is installed, sized to your flue, and anchored properly. The work is photographed before-and-after for your records. For animal removal: The animal is humanely removed (we work with a regional wildlife removal partner where state law requires). The flue is then cleaned, the cap is inspected, and a new cap is installed if missing.

A typical sweep + inspection takes 45–60 minutes. A cap replacement takes 30–45 minutes. Animal removal varies based on the situation.

ETA accuracy

Our published target is to hit the booked window 95% of the time. We track this in-house and post the rolling 90-day percentage on our internal scoreboard. When we miss a window, the dispatcher calls before the window closes — not after — to reset the ETA.

Same-day booking availability is realistic Monday through Saturday in normal weather; surge demand windows (the first cold snap of the season, post-storm response weeks) push booking out to next-day. We do not double-book to the limit; if we say we can be there today, we can be there today.

12-city service area

Our trucks run daily across:

  • **Plano** — north Plano residential corridors
  • **Frisco** — established and new-build residential
  • **McKinney** — Stonebridge, Adriatica, historic district
  • **Allen** — Twin Creeks, Watters Creek, surrounding
  • **Garland** — Firewheel, Centerville, Oakridge
  • **Mesquite** — North Mesquite, Town East
  • **Richardson** — Canyon Creek, Sherrill Park, Heights
  • **Carrollton** — Castle Hills, Trinity Mills, Hebron
  • **Lewisville** — Castle Hills, Hidden Cove, Old Town
  • **Arlington** — North Arlington, South Arlington
  • **Grand Prairie** — Mira Lagos, Lake Ridge, Dalworth
  • **Irving** — Las Colinas, Valley Ranch, North Irving

If you are outside these twelve cities, call 469-352-4279 and we will let you know whether we can reach you and what the timeline looks like.

What you need before booking

Three things make the booking faster:

1. City and zip code. This determines availability and ETA window.

2. Service needed. Sweep, inspection, cap, dryer vent, animal removal, or “I’m not sure — please diagnose.”

3. Access notes. Gate code, dog in the yard, garage code, side-yard locked — anything we need to reach the chimney without delay.

If you are not sure what service you need, the right starting point is a sweep + Level 1 inspection at $99. The inspection will tell us — and you — what other work, if any, the chimney needs.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You can reschedule or cancel up to two hours before the booked window with no charge. Inside the two-hour window, a $49 dispatch fee applies if the technician has already left for your address. We will tell you if that’s the case when you call.

After the service

You receive an emailed receipt with the inspection findings, photographs, and any quoted next-step work within 24 business hours of service completion. If the chimney needs further work — a reline, a crown rebuild, masonry repair — the quote is written, transparent, and you have no obligation to proceed.
